The Housing Debt Helpline Wales
The Housing Debt Helpline Wales offers support to individuals and families who are finding it difficult to meet their mortgage or rental payments.
The helpline is operated by Consumer Credit Counselling Service, a registered charity that provides free, independent, confidential and realistic advice to people in financial difficulty. It has been part-funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and is supported by the Wales Co-operative Centre.

How does the helpline work?
Over the phone our helpline advisor will perform an assessment of your situation and provide you with immediate help and advice or in more complex cases, the offer of a counselling appointment. Counsellors will conduct a full review of your situation and will provide you with a recommendation. You will need to provide information such as details of your debts, your assets, your income and living expenses. As this service is free, your debt situation is not worsened by the burden of fees.
